A gamified community-gardening app that rewards showing up — built with LA Blueprint for the Teapot Gardens non-profit.
View project on GitHub →Teapot Gardens turns community-event attendance into a game: members grow a personal plant that levels up with XP earned by showing up to garden cleanups, workshops, and seed swaps. I worked on the React Native (Expo) front-end and its Node/Express + MongoDB backend, streamlining event-planning workflows to improve volunteer retention. The tour below is the actual app, running on its web target against a seeded database.
